Desert home design

Around three years ago, Ronnie as well as I moved out west.

Ronnie and I bought a small home located near the desert. Ronnie and I were excited to have a brown and dirt patch and lots of property. You could see cacti right outside our back door. Sadly, the home was a complete mess. The past owners had not only failed to keep up with regular changes as well as basic upkeep, they left behind a lot of issues. There was water damage to the ceilings, holes in the flooring, cracked tile as well as most of the appliances didn’t turn on. Ronnie as well as I were eager to tackle the project. Ronnie and I pretty much gutted the total home down to the floor pieces, rafters as well as studs. Ronnie and I were left with a wide open empty space as well as a vague thought on how to transfer forward. Our endpoint was to create a casual as well as welcoming home that epitomized the desert style of life. With dirt getting tracked in, every one of us couldn’t have rugs. Because of the 5 windows as well as glare of the sun, every one of us needed some kind of light-blocking draperies. I called an interior designer to help us out. The interior designer is combined with a custom furniture shop as well as together every one of us created an idea. Ronnie and I decided to decorate the apartment in shades of green with accents of pale yellow. Because all of the furniture as well as draperies were made from scratch as well as to our exact wants, everything blends perfectly.
