My lavatory has consistently been way too small.
I decided that I was going to save my money, gut it and make it the perfect space.
In the gutting procedure I thought I was going to have a reasonable amount of space to add a storage section in the lavatory. After my shower, sink and toilet were installed, I was able to see that I didn’t have a good amount of leftover space. Space saving ideas online were enjoyable and cute, but I needed so much more. I wanted to be able to keep a few towels, wash cloths, hand soaps and toiletries. Under the sink offered little room entirely. I needed some category of cubby system. I looked around on the internet but found the options were either the incorrect measurements, made out of cheap material or entirely too costly. I then stumbled upon a custom furniture builder. I gave the guy the exact measurements of my lavatory and took pictures to show him the overall layout. I basically begged him to figure out a way for me to keep towels in my bathroom space… The guy is a complete genius! He developed a cubby system that actually hangs on the back of my shower door. It looks really cute and the towels are protected from water. I can access everything in my lavatory and now I have a good amount of storage. I basically feel like the custom furniture builder took numerous months to make my storage unit. It looks like it is crafted out of high quality material and most people compliment it in my lavatory. That custom storage device is the focal point nowadays.
