My washroom has always been ridiculously tiny! I decided that I was going to save my money, gut it and make it the perfect space.
In the gutting process I thought I was going to have an ideal amount of space to add a storage section in the washroom.
After my shower, sink and toilet were installed, I came to see that I didn’t have a good amount of leftover space… Space saving ideas online were unique and cute, however I needed way more. I wanted to be able to keep a few towels, wash cloths, hand soaps and toiletries. Under the sink provided very little room. I needed some type of cubby system to be honest. I looked around online but found the options were either the incorrect measurements, made out of cheap material or way too pricey. I then stumbled upon a custom furniture builder. I provided the guy the measurements of my washroom and took numerous pictures to show him the entire layout. I pretty much begged him to find a way for me to keep towels in my bathroom. The guy is a genius! He developed a cubby system that basically hangs on the back of my shower door. It looks adorable and the towels are protected from water. I can easily access everything in my washroom and now I have more than enough storage in the washroom. It actually seems like the custom furniture builder took maybe a few weeks to make my storage unit. It looks like it is crafted out of hearty material and I get all kinds of comments on it in my washroom. That custom storage component is the focal point these days.
