I desperately needed storage in my tiny bathroom

My bathroom has regularly been shockingly small… I made the choice that I was going to save my money, gut it and make it the perfect space. In the gutting process I thought I was going to have a good amount of space to add a storage section in the bathroom. After the shower, sink and toilet were installed, I realized I didn’t have a lot of leftover space. Space saving ideas online were interesting and cute, even though I needed more. I wanted to be able to keep a few towels, wash cloths, hand soaps and toiletries. Under the sink provided truly little room. I needed some type of cubby system. I looked around online however found the possibilities were either the uncommon measurements, made out of cheap material or way too expensive. I then stumbled upon a custom furniture builder. I provided the girl the measurements of our bathroom and took pictures to show her the whole layout. I basically begged her to find a way for me to keep towels in our space. This girl is a genius, and she developed a cubby that hangs on the back of our shower door. It looks rather adorable and the towels are protected from water. I can access everything in our bathroom and now I have more than enough storage. I feel like the custom furniture builder took maybe a few weeks to make our storage unit. It looks sort of like it is crafted out of hearty material and everybody comments on it in our bathroom. That custom storage unit is the focal point now.
