Small bathroom needs storage

My bathroom has always been ridiculously small.

I decided that I was going to save my money, gut it and make it the perfect space.

In the gutting process I thought I was going to have tons of space to add a storage area in the bathroom. After my shower, sink and toilet were installed, I realized I didn’t have a lot of leftover space. Space saving ideas online were unique and cute, but I needed more. I wanted to be able to keep a few towels, wash clothes, hand soaps and toiletries. Under the sink offered very little room. I needed some type of cubby system. I looked around online but found the options were either the incorrect measurements, made out of cheap material or way too expense. I then stumbled upon a custom furniture builder. I gave the guy the measurements of my bathroom and took pictures to show him the layout. I basically begged him to find a way for me to keep towels in my space. The guy is a genius. He developed a cubby system that hangs on the back of my shower door. It looks totally adorable and the towels are protected from water. I can easily access everything in my bathroom and now I have more than enough storage. I feel like the custom furniture builder took maybe a few months to make my storage unit. It looks like it is crafted out of hearty material and everyone comments on it in my bathroom. That custom storage unit is the focal point now.
