For some reason, my husband wanted to make our honeymoon an experience.
- My idea of experience was going around the country and sleeping in bed and breakfasts, or in a nice hotel.
His idea of an experience was travelling in an RV. I wasn’t thrilled with this idea since I had to clean, cook, and do everything I would need to do in my home. I was happy that he chose the RV over camping since I hated being in tents and not having heating or air conditioning, or running water. There was something wrong about taking a shower where people you didn’t know were also in there. You didn’t know what they did in those showers. The biggest downfall of the RV was that it didn’t have a washer or dryer. With all the other home conveniences, you would think they would put in a small washer and dryer. I had to go in search of a laundromat either at the campground or in the nearest town. I worried about my laundry going into public laundromats. I also worried because most of them had the worst HVAC of anywhere. They tell you to stay with your laundry the entire time you were using the machines, but their poor HVAC made that nearly impossible. I found one laundromat that was right next door to a small ice cream stand. I went inside and I had the best hamburger I had had in years, and I enjoyed their air conditioning. I enjoyed the AC and my clothes actually got clean. I was hoping we would stay here long enough so I could use this laundromat and get all of our laundry done.
