I just moved to a new town and was looking for a job.
I work in construction, so being new in town I needed to find a construction company that was hiring or that would be in the near future.
I had no work, and I did not want to go get some other kind of job that i was not trained in. Construction companies are my life and working in construction is my thing. I found this one new construction company that arrived in town not too long before I did. So this was the perfect opportunity to see if they were hiring. When I went into the new construction company, I was in luck because they told me that they were hiring. And after seeing my resume and my long history of physical labor on construction sites, they pretty much hired me on the spot. This was a big wave of relief. Because I was quickly running out of money and I did not want to have to go and beg my bank for a loan. I was so happy that I found this new construction company in my new town right away like I did! New construction companies are not easy to come by. Because construction is pretty competitive and most construction companies in big areas like where I moved have been there for years. And because they have been there for years, they are never looking for new construction workers. So again, I really lucked out here with the new construction company!
