I loved woodshop when I was young

I entirely remember back in middle school when I was in woodshop, where I ended up making an absolutely nice end table, but it wasn’t straight-forward; the hardest section was not entirely doing the work putting the end table together, it was the lack of air conditioner in the woodshop area.

There was a classroom linked to the woodshop area with a bunch of computers! Also the classroom had a pretty nice air conditioner, so it was comfortable. In the woodshop area though, the air conditioner seemed to be non-existent. It was absolutely hot plus uncomfortable in there. I don’t suppose why it was like that, but it absolutely was a problem… So I would try our best when measuring the wood pieces plus cutting them to size, even though I would always have to get back out to the air conditioner for a break. A lot of other students didn’t want to be in the woodshop area at all because of the lack of a real air conditioner. I cared about our project though plus I said I would complete it even if I had to roast to death. It took a lot of work, even though I was able to complete it plus I got an absolutely nice grade on our project. A lot of the others didn’t even finish their projects, plus that was a shame for them. I believe if they were smarter about the heating, ventilation, plus A/C set up, it wouldn’t have been an issue. That was a long time ago though, plus I’m sure they really fixed the air conditioner in that place. I still have our end table to this day, plus it’s a fantastic piece of work in our home. People ask about it all the time, plus I tell them I made it way back in middle school decades ago.
