It was not a good move to sign a lease before moving in

After having agreed to rent an apartment for about a year before even being able to go on an in person tour I realize that I brought the situation that I am currently in upon myself.… It wasn’t too long ago when I was offered a superb position working as an intern in the sizable city. This was all good and well, but the only drawback was that it was an unpaid internship! Due to this I needed to get a cheap location to stay. After searching online for numerous hours I finally found a location that seemed pretty nice. I actually didn’t have the money to fly across the country just to do a tour of the apartment, so I took a giant leap of faith as well as agreed to sign the lease only from looking at the pictures as well as descriptions online. When I showed up to the place, I abruptly discovered that the apartment I had agreed to rent was nothing like what I saw online. There were mold spots everywhere on the ceiling, the air conditioner equipment didn’t work, as well as there were bars on the windows for some crazy reason. Not long after my arrival I attempted calling the person who had rented the location out to me to see if we could do anything about the mold or the lack of air conditioner equipment. According to this terrible scam artist none of that was required in the contract. Take it from a guy who had to learn the tough way as well as never agree to live somewhere you have never actually been to. Also, be smart and read the fine print.
