Getting results for my HVAC business using digital marketing

I am an HVAC guy and an entrepreneur at heart.

  • So, had you said something about online marketing, SEM and SEO just months ago, I would have just stared at you.

Thankfully that is not the case anymore. Now, my HVAC business is thriving due to stuff like PPC and search engine marketing techniques. The nature of the regional HVAC business has changed dramatically in the last 10 years. The town I base my HVAC business in was a sleepy little community when I first got into the HVAC game. I was able to get a good amount of business from the local population because I was one of a handful of HVAC providers. Additionally, I would advertise a bit in the city that was about an hour away with fair results. Combined, I was able to make a solid business for my HVAC company. But then, our community became more of a bedroom community for the city. This brought much more competition from both independent and national HVAC brands. My HVAC business had good roots but I saw my market share begin to wither away. So, I switched my advertising target to my local, thriving market but still got less than stellar results. Fortunately, a fellow local business man turned me on to online and digital marketing. I quickly saw that this was the way forward for me. Search engine marketing was able to quickly reposition my online presence. They also updated my online platform to a more customer centric approach. Using SEO, PPC and other SEM strategies my local business was now getting scene by the people I needed to find me.
