Keep snow & ice from hurting Heating & Air Conditioning while in the winter

Anyone who has ever lived up here in the nether reaches of the north knows what it’s all about when it comes to snow & ice.

The amounts of that stuff both of us see around here is close to staggering. I think I am constantly battling it just to get back & forth to work. There is also all the expense of snow removal device & all those bags of icemelt. However, it is still up to myself and others to get out there & sling that snow. That’s why it sort of surprises myself and others that I forgot about the other half of the Heating & Air Conditioning for all these years. The a/c, in this area of the country, is sort of an afterthought. I wouldn’t even own 1 if it wasn’t for our fiance. She gets hot & bothered in the worst way if the temps get somewhere above 73. So, with this home both of us put in the a/c. I believe I just forgot that the Heating & Air Conditioning compressor cottageet just sits outside all through the long winter. I asked the Heating & Air Conditioning woman about this & she told myself and others that the weight of snow & ice can do lasting mangle to the Heating & Air Conditioning components in the cottageet outside. Her recommendation was to order a hard plastic cover that slips right over the Heating & Air Conditioning. This way, once the frigid air is on it’s way, I can simply slip the cover on the Heating & Air Conditioning cottageet & leave it until it’s ready to be fired up in the summer. My fiance would lose her mind if she had to go a day in the 73’s without her beloved a/c.
