The rest of the town was unscathed
I’m the sweetest guy who has bad luck all the time. If you guess that I am exaggerating, you should spend some time talking to me & my family, then unluckyly, they have the same kind of karmic look as I do. It seems like both of us are just a genetic pool of unlucky souls. This might sound dramatic or defeatist, however listen to what happened to me last week. I was minding my own business, gardening out back when I heard a horrific sound. I went running around the home trying to figure out what was going on when I saw a large stream of water flying through the air & landing next to my window. Of course, this powerful blast of H2O was accurately targeting my large a/c. The A/C equipment was located right outside my home office window & it was being pummeled with tons of gallons of water right before my eyes. I was sad about my home flooding, despite the fact that I was also distraught about my brand new A/C equipment which was clearly being drowned in the powerful stream. There was nothing I could do to stop the water because it appeared to be emerging from the ground. All I could do was run downstairs & split the power to my central cooling system to hopefully stop the entire home from shorting out. A few moments later, I saw multiple town utility trucks pull up to my house. Some utility specialists ran out & managed to turn off the flowing stream of water. Apparently, a water main had burst & it happened to destroy only my a/c. The rest of the town was unscathed. Now, I am in a battle with the town over my broken A/C unit. They claim that they are not responsible for the cooling system disrepair. Apparently, this A/C damage was an act of God.
