We never used to disinfect the air ducts or the ventilation system in the office.
Oh, how I long for the unbelievable days of old when all of us didn’t have hundreds of dollars in Heating & A/C business bills each and every week. With all of this silly coronavirus stuff going on, everyone is very freaked out about the indoor air pollen levels in our office. I mean, I suppose I can understand it to any extent, but at some point all of us are going to have to use our typical sense. I agree that all of us all really need to be more careful when it comes to distancing ourselves from others in addition to wash our hands more often, however I don’t think if cleaning up the ventilation ducts in our building every single night makes much sense either. I suppose the most important thing is just trying to make everyone recognize better in addition to safer, even if it’s not genuinely doing anything of import. As far as the Heating & A/C system goes, I think that it’s absolutely cleaner now than it was when that commercial Heating & A/C business installed it for the genuinely first time. I just get PO’d every day when I’m leaving the office in addition to I see all of the Heating & A/C trucks pulling into the parking lot to begin another night of air duct cleaning. I just think that it’s all overkill… Cleaning them once in a while is a good thing, but keeping things too pristine all the time is not feasible for any of our immune systems. I am hoping that management will change the rules in addition to starting to clean the ventilation system every month or every couple of weeks instead.
