Well, after about five minutes of working on the air conditioning, the HVAC technician came upstairs and told me that the reason my A/C wasn’t working was because it wasn’t plugged in.
My air conditioning tore up last week and I just couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I checked all kinds of things but nothing seemed to make any sense to me at all. I even looked online at different videos on how to troubleshoot problems with cooling systems, but nothing was working. I finally decided that I was going to have to call my local heating and cooling company to come out and fix it for me, even though I really didn’t want to have to pay for an expensive A/C repair bill. The temperatures were supposed to be heating up more and more over the week, though. By the time the weekend rolled around, we were supposed to have temperatures in the high nineties. So I really didn’t want to be stuck in my house without an air conditioning system. I called and made an appointment for them to send out an HVAC technician and they showed up within a few hours because they had a cancellation at another air conditioning repair job. I was glad that they showed up at my house early, because I couldn’t figure out what the heck was wrong with my cooling system. Well, after about five minutes of working on the air conditioning, the HVAC technician came upstairs and told me that the reason my A/C wasn’t working was because it wasn’t plugged in. I was so embarrassed. I hadn’t thought to even check the main power hook ups for the HVAC system. Apparently, my cat had somehow managed to unplug the whole thing.
