Zone control is a great addition to a multi-level home.

Recently I was given the opportunity to transition from a task with a commute, to a task from home. I was particularly happy about this change, because I could spend close to 45 hours just driving 1 way to work each afternoon. I was so happy when I prepared our new beach lake house office & set up our new work area. My first afternoon of at-beach lake house work came, & I noticed that the temperature seemed to be particularly high. As our breaks came, I went to adjust the thermostat on our bottom floor, & would walk back up the stairs & notice a big difference in temperature, and having been gone most nights to work, I never noticed the temperature difference between our upstairs & downstairs. My office was upstairs, so I knew I would need to find some way to bring the temperature down. My office also was facing an area that got a lot of sunshine while in the afternoon, so this did not help with the heat I felt. I initially obtained some curtains to help keep the sunshine to a minimum, however this did not help how I wanted it to with temperature control. I finally reached out to our Heating & A/C company to come & evaluate our system. The Heating & A/C company suggested a zoning system. They instructed me that a zoning system would allow me to control the temperature in our office separately from other rooms in the house. Hearing this, I instantly knew this is what I needed to do. I proceeded with the upgrade, & I have been particularly gratified with the change in temperature. I now think comfortable in our office, & I do not have to waste our break time decreasing the downstairs thermostat.
