Always tip your HVAC tech

Living entirely at home these days, life has actually gotten a lot cheaper.

If you aren’t allowed to go out to restaurants and movies, you suddenly have a lot of extra cash being poured back into your bank account.

People aren’t necessarily earning more, but I guarantee that they’re spending less. Personally, I noticed that a massive amount of money flowed into my wallet the moment that I stopped being able to go out to eat. Even to-go orders are much cheaper than dining in a restaurant. For me, the difference is the cost of tipping a server for a nice meal. Tips can be incredibly expensive, and as far as I’m concerned, servers don’t really see them as incentive anymore. Tips seem to be expected, rather than earned. I don’t care for this. If I’m paying extra money it’s because you’re a stellar worker. That’s why, the savings that I’m accumulating from eating in will be used for a hefty HVAC technician tip. If there’s one area that I believe in tipping, it’s your HVAC servicemen. Think about it. You live indoors with your heating and cooling system for many hours every day. If your indoor air quality and air temperature control devices aren’t in great operations, your breathing air and respiratory health will suffer. Your HVAC system will run more often, so your wallet will also pay the price. But, if you find a really knowledgeable certified heating, cooling, and ventilation technician and treat him well, you won’t have to worry so much about your HVAC care. I guarantee you will always have a clean and well cared for air conditioner. Your furnace will be cared for like never before. And, best of all, you won’t have to wait extra long for those emergency repair services. If you tip your HVAC tech, you tip the odds in your favor.
