Last year, I was in quite an interesting predicament; My niece and a few of her elementary school friends came over to visit, and I had prepared some fun things for them to do while they were here, and some of those things included video games and arts and crafts.
I have a few large sheets of paper, crayons, stickers and a bottle of glitter.
I knew they were going to have a blast! They arrived and gave myself and others a brief greeting before rushing to all of the wonderful stuff, however they played video games for a little while, before moving onto the arts and crafts. I watched with amusement as they doodled and drew all over the large paper; Figuring they were distracted, I decided to leave them alone. That was a large mistake, but while I was in the middle of cooking, I realized I didn’t hear them chattering anymore, and I decided to check on them to make sure everything was okay. They weren’t drawing anymore, and I noticed glitter everywhere! I followed the glitter trail and stopped just in time to see them dump glitter into the air conditioner vents. I rushed to stop them, but it was too late. I scolded them and sent them home, but afterwards, our home started puffing out glitter in every vent. It was all over the floor! Even our dog was coated in glitter by the end of the week, and so was I. It took forever to get the glitter out of our hair and clothes, and it got to the point where I needed professional help. I called a Heating and A/C professional to get our Heating and A/C ducts cleaned, and to clean up this glitter disaster. I never thought I would have a problem with Heating and A/C systems and glitter of all things.
