You can try to clean the ductwork on your own, but it’s not an easy thing to do, especially without the right tools. The HVAC professionals have the right tools to tackle ductwork cleaning and they can do it fast and efficiently. They will commonly show you before and after pictures so that you know they actually did the job. It’s nice to be able to see what you are paying for. When I first got my ductwork system cleaned, there was a shocking amount of dust and debris that was pulled out. The pictures taken before the cleaning are a nightmare, and I’m so happy that I can breathe easily again in my home. Since I spoke with that HVAC technician, I also have been using higher quality air filters, and that helps a lot with my allergies.
