I located a high-end salon right in my neighborhood. It’s situated just around the corner of my apartment. I can walk to it in under five minutes. Not only is this salon really cute, but it’s also very clean. I’ve met all of the estheticians and they are really skilled at what they do. They offer a broad spectrum of treatments including facials, massage, waxing, sugaring, manicures and pedicures. The treatment I get most often is eyebrow tinting. I like the time-savings of waking up in the morning and having eyebrows that are neat, tidy and ready to go. The technician sculpts my eyebrows. She then uses henna to provide a temporary but natural tint. I don’t need to mess with pencils or powders. The henna process is painless. The tint is used to stain the skin under the eyebrow hairs. It offers an appearance of depth and fullness. This treatment enhances the overall look and shape of my face. Henna is a natural dye that is derived from the henna tree. This type of treatment has been around since ancient Egyptian times. The technician begins with waxing to shape the eyebrow. She mixes henna powder with demineralised water to make a paste. The paste is applied to the skin allowed to soak in for around ten or fifteen minutes. The esthetician customizes the intensity in the arch and tail to create an ombre effect. The whole it is safe, vegan friendly and there’s no peroxide activators. I have sensitive skin but have never experienced any concerns with henna tinting. I set up an appointment at the salon for eyebrow retouching every six weeks. I am conscientious when cleaning my face. I also use special oils to lengthen the henna effects.
