HVAC code of conduct

My dad was a truly relaxed guy.

You entirely never saw him sweat.

That doesn’t mean that he wasn’t intense because he entirely was. No, he just had a way of taking things in stride. He was never a knee jerk reactor. Dad constantly processed things and rolled with it. He raised myself and others to be the same way. I have a buddy who is the complete polar opposite of what I have just described. They never seemed to just lay back and relax. This person is fueled by turmoil, fear and drama. I avoided him at all costs when he’s throwing his fits. However, there is constantly at least one time per month where he corners me. I think he just lays in wait for me to come home and then walks up our driveway. I have to wash out our garage so I can just pull straight in. Anyway, he caught me the other day and was his normal apoplectic self. His drama that day was that the federal government will be banning a dangerous HVAC refrigerant in 2020. I knew this 3 years ago. The HVAC supplier we used told me because our old HVAC component used this R 22 refrigerant. They suggested that I consider replacing our old unit sooner rather than later. And I did. Well, my buddy felt sure this was all a government conspiracy and just lost his mind in front of our home over it. Normally, I would be at least polite and listen for a few hours. Not that day because I simply walked to our front door with him in tow. Perhaps he thought I would invite him in but, I just walked in and shut the door. I’m not sure why he has a death wish with the HVAC system, but I wasn’t in the mood to hear it.
