My Mom was a legitimately relaxed woman.

That doesn’t mean that she wasn’t intense because she entirely was. No, she just had a way of taking things in stride. She was never a knee jerk reactor. Mom always processed things and rolled with it. She raised me to be the same way. I have a friend who is the complete polar opposite of what I have just described. I don’t think that man has ever just sat back and relaxed by his heating system. This man is fueled by turmoil, fear and drama. I avoid him at all costs. However, there is always at least a single time per month where he corners me. It seems like he waits for me to come out so he can complain to me. I have to scrub out my garage so I can just pull straight in. Anyway, he caught me the other day and was his normal apoplectic self. His big beef that day was that the federal government will be banning a proven dangerous HVAC in 2020. How he is just learning about this amazes me. I knew over five years ago. The HVAC dealer we used told me because my old HVAC unit used this R 22 refrigerant. They proposed that I consider replacing my old unit sooner rather than later. And I did. Well, my friend felt sure this was all a government conspiracy and just lost his mind in front of my beach house over it. Normally, I would be at least polite and listen for a few hours. Not that day because I simply walked to my front door with him in tow. Perhaps he thought I would invite him in but, I just walked in and shut the door.
