Well, my neighbor felt sure this was all a government conspiracy and just lost his mind in front of my house over it.
My dad was a very relaxed guy. You really never saw him sweat. That doesn’t mean that he wasn’t intense because he certainly was. No, he just had a way of taking things in stride. He was never a knee jerk reactor. Dad always processed things and rolled with it. He raised me to be the same way. I have a neighbor who is the complete polar opposite of what I have just described. I don’t think that man has ever just relaxed, put his feet up in the HVAC comfort and let it all go. This man is fueled by turmoil, fear and drama. I avoid him at all costs. However, there is always at least one time per month where he corners me. I know he just lays in wait for me to come home and then walks up my driveway. I have to clean out my garage so I can just pull straight in. Anyway, he caught me the other day and was his normal apoplectic self. His big beef that day was that the federal government will be banning a dangerous HVAC refrigerant in 2020. How he is just learning about this amazes me. I knew over five years ago. The HVAC company we used told me because my old HVAC unit used this R 22 refrigerant. They suggested that I consider replacing my old unit sooner rather than later. And I did. Well, my neighbor felt sure this was all a government conspiracy and just lost his mind in front of my house over it. Normally, I would be at least polite and listen for a few minutes. Not that day because I simply walked to my front door with him in tow. Perhaps he thought I would invite him in but, I just walked in and shut the door.
