I love Christmas so much! It is by far my favorite time of the year.
- I love all holidays, but Christmas surpasses all the others in my mind.
It is the only time of year that my entire family gets together to celebrate. Some of my cousins that live on the other side of the country come to our family Christmas celebrations, and it is the only time of year that I get to see them. We usually do Christmas at our house, but this year, we decided to do it at my grandmother’s house because she was too sick to get out. It would have been a great time if it weren’t for the furnace in her house acting up. It was basically stuck on the entire time. I don’t even know how hot it got in that house, but it must have been more than eighty-five degrees in there. We opened all of the windows in the entire house, and that helped quite a bit, but it was still so hot that everyone was quite miserable. We tried to make the best out of the situation, but you could tell that everyone was uncomfortable. Everyone except for my grandmother that is. She loved having her house that warm, and she could not figure out why we opened all of the windows. It was the perfect temperature to her. I really wanted to just tell everyone to come over to my house after a few hours of being at my grandmother’s place, but she seemed so happy that we were all there. I could not take that away from her. Thankfully, she got her furnace fixed a few days later, and New Years was not as hot.
