I have had my fair share of concerns as a homeowner, however nothing prepared me for this last one. Usually, I provide occupants their space plus let them be. Most people who rent my holiday house stay for months, so I usually just stop and inspect it after they leave. I stopped asking for a deposit after getting proper clients; however this new client, an old client advised, turned things around for me. His behavior caught me off guard because I was away on a corporation trip when all this happened. A few afternoons after I left, he secretly brought in a cooling professional to service the air conditioner. To date, I don’t even understand what happened, however they claim the air filter is not filtering the air respectfully hence the awful indoor air quality. If there is something I take seriously, it’s temperature control because I know how essential it is in any home. Moving on, when I returned, the client cut short his stay plus hurriedly left. He did not provide much explanation, so I did not bother much. Days later, while thoroughly inspecting the condo before a new client came in, I observed something was off with the cooling equipment. Unlike my guest, I contacted my proper cooling expert to perform a quick service A/c service. His answer also shocked me after inspecting the heating plus air conditioning. Long story short, he insisted on a new A/c setup because the current cooling technology had been tampered with beyond repair. He apparently told me he wasn’t willing to service it, however would agree to a new installation because that one was vandalized. He even urged me to go ahead and consult a cooling specialist from a strange cooling corporation if I doubted him. What I thought was proper heating plus air conditioning maintenance turned out to be a overpriced affair thanks to a destructive client.
