Johnny and my granny are like two peas in a pod.
It’s funny to see two different generations find so much in common.
When I told my granny I wanted to bring a friend along to visit her, she was excited. Granny has always feared I’d end up alone since I wasn’t too much into dating. Even as a kid, I was more into books and competitions than talking about boys. It’s not that I didn’t like boys, I just never had any interest in any of them. Eventually, I went to one of the best universities, and that’s where I met Johnny. He’d come to visit one of my classmates who was his cousin, and we hit it off. He worked as a HVAC technician in the area, and we grew close. Johnny is only three years older than me, so he’s not an old HVAC technician or anything like that. He works for a local HVAC company and has done well for himself despite being new to the HVAC industry. We dated a year before I told granny about him. I was going to visit her during summer, so she said I definitely should go with Johnny. They talked about heating and cooling from day one. I was amazed granny knew so much about HVAC systems. However, she’d never heard about HEPA filters and wanted to know more. Johnny explained to her the advantages of a HEPA filter and why it’s the best for residential houses. Granny was sold and made Johnny replace her air filter with a HEPA filter before we left her home.
