I can’t believe our house went from being the most comfortable place for me to a place I didn’t want to walk into. But, due to the poor indoor air quality, I planned to stay late inside the commercial Heating, Ventilation, & A/C of labor instead of going home. That should have been my first indication to contact the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning professionals. But I didn’t do that because I thought my associate and I could go the cover-up route. So my colleague and I spent our money on things like scented candles, plug-ins, and sprays. You can easily imagine how that went. When your home’s indoor air quality is poor and there are strong odors, covering them up won’t work. Sure, you might get a few minutes where some fantastic odors cover up some awful odors. However, as soon as the heat pump kicked on, the old odors returned. Most odors are caused by bacteria suspended in the air, according to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning professionals. So, if you don’t remove the bacteria, you won’t be able to remove the odor. That is why air purification is required. I wasn’t thrilled with the idea of having to transport an air cleaner around my house. In addition, I didn’t want to have to remember to clean the air cleaner’s air filter. And it was something I would have had to do quite frequently. So my colleague and I decided to go with a whole-house air cleaner instead. This device works inside the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning unit to effectively destroy the bacteria that cause odors.
