The more Lewis talks to people the more he feels like everyone’s life is in turmoil in one way or another.
The funny thing is, all of that turmoil is more or less in their minds and not in their lives. This whole game of life is played out in the mind and not in the actual circumstances and events that occur. It is almost as if life is a virtual reality movie he is seeing, yet a lot of people get wrapped up in the storyline and forget that it is just a movie. It sounds crazy, but his HEPA filter salesman friend painted a clear picture as to how this whole thing works, and she helped put things in perspective while they worked together at the Heating, Ventilation and A/C business during the weekdays. She died about two and a half years ago and was a wonderful woman in his life and made a large impact on Lewis’ life now. He knows that working at the local HVAC business without her will never be the same, as she used to joke around and talk all morning while working on heating and cooling equipment in the store. His life is kind of drab now, as he quit doing stand up comedy and had broken up with his longtime lady due to too many problems they were having. Lewis just works at the cooling corp each morning and then comes home to his cats and his whole home air purifying system purring away like them. It is an easy life but he needs a reset from all of the chaos.
