Compared to how upset I was about the impending heat and humidity, I’m not as conflicted about this time of year as I usually am. On the one hand, I’m happy to see all the expansion that is taking place right now and the red that has suddenly appeared. However, I’m disappointed that our ideal winter weather will soon return to the past. That’s a bummer because it means the heat pump is essentially left idle throughout the entire Winter because my nice friend and I require so little heating from the residential Heating & A/C system! That also means that during the winter, my energy costs are almost a pleasure to open. Regarding the summertime, that is definitely not the case. Our home receives cooling comfort from the heat pump in an essentially constant state. I’m not certain that it would be possible to control the level of heat and humidity present without air conditioning. That there is a heat pump and that it provides the a/c I require to get through our hot season makes me extremely grateful. Still, I have some additional heating and air conditioning technology to get me through the Spring and then the Summer. However, my friend and I had a heating and air conditioning company come out and install a smart temperature control. There are several reasons why this new piece of heating and cooling technology will be appreciated. Managing the output of the heating and cooling systems and saving money are both great benefits of smart temperature control. However, I won’t have to constantly worry about the temperature control setting, which will free up some time for me. I’m excited about it.
