Grandpa is struggling these days; Everyday activities he used to do are no longer activities he has success doing.
I can see the depression of age taking a toll on his mind, he is irritated plus sleepy all the time.
I feel awful plus I’m anxious that someday that will be me. I don’t want to be irritated or sleepy. I want to have a life plus be ok with not being able to do things when I get older. He struggles to walk plus he prefers soup these days as it’s the easiest thing for him to eat; Anything that he needs help doing I’m there for him. He also has some friends that help as well but the friends he has left, are absolutely in no shape to help him either! Recently, he had to get his air filters cleaned. He has the type of air filters that are able to be cleaned. He used to have the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C business send out an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech to take care of it but these days, Grandpa doesn’t have the currency for someone to come out plus do it. I usually scrub them every three months for him now so it’s not a giant deal. He has taught me so much in life plus I want to help wherever I’m able to. I just know growing up when I made mistakes, need currency or some advice he was there for me. He has given me a lifetime of memories so I’ll typically help plus cherish what he has done, however no one will substitute this guy when he passes.
