Ductless mini split units are perfect for small homes

My son Wesley left his corporate job to focus on his personal interests.

  • He decided to put money into buying vacation homes.

When he first pitched the idea to me, he was only interested in investing in tiny homes, so it sounded really great. Of course, tiny homes are in. Many manufacturers now offer tiny or modular homes that are ready for immediate occupancy. The demand for these tiny houses as vacation rentals has increased. These homes have all the amenities required for a weekend getaway. They include full living rooms in addition to a sizeable bedroom and bathroom. There is a complete kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and oven. In addition, the house had air conditioning. The units typically use ductless mini split HVAC systems. Mini split units are ideal for these tiny homes due to their small size and compact design. Multiple air handlers can fit in the unit, allowing the tiny house to have cooling in various zones. The outdoor heat pump is also significantly smaller than typical heat pumps for a full-size HVAC unit. Ductless mini split units are also easy to install because they don’t require ductwork. Due to their high efficiency, mini split units are more cost-effective to operate than conventional HVAC systems when it comes to heating and cooling small spaces. I use one of these systems to heat and cool my own home, so you can tell I know a lot about them. My two-bedroom townhouse’s ductless unit works well, even though I don’t live in a tiny house. However, I wholeheartedly support Wesley’s decision to pursue a new career, and I believe he will be successful.
