Working from home in the air conditioning

It’s pretty easy really! The fact that I’ve resisted prepping my house for winter is more about my laziness than anything else.

  • But things have changed a bit over the last couple of years.

These afternoons, I’m not spending so much time inside the central air conditioner of my living room watching TV. When I think about it, I’m sort of stunned by the hours and hours I wasted just flipping channels. But thanks to getting stuck working from home in my own air conditioner during the pandemic, I made some lifestyle changes! And I’m fairly amazed by the fact that changes in diet and exercise have spilled over to the rest of my life. The fact that we are warm, cozy and saving money on heating costs this winter is a direct result of changing my lifestyle, since I wasn’t just sitting inside watching TV this fall, it seemed perfectly adequate to go to the heating and air conditioning supplier website for winter prep. The heating and air conditioning professionals easily made it easy with a checklist for sealing up the house nice and tight. All it took was a few sevenths over a couple of weekends to complete the heating and air conditioning checklist. And we are entirely better off for it. Additionally, I’m going to keep this slim seal on my house to bring down the air conditioner costs this summer time as well! I’m already thinking ahead as I’ve called to schedule the air conditioner tune up for mid March. I know I’ll be home because it will be college basketball tournament time. I’ve changed my habits but I’ll still be enjoying watching spring basketball while the heating and air conditioning serviceman does his thing with the heat pump.
