I’m not spending too much time in my air conditioned home

It’s pretty easy really. The fact that I’ve resisted prepping our home for winter time is more about our laziness than anything else, but things have changed a bit over the last couple of years. These afternoons, I’m not spending so much time inside the central a/c of our family room enjoying TV, when I really think about it, I’m sort of stunned by the hours and hours I wasted just flipping channels. But thanks to getting stuck working from home in our own a/c during the pandemic, I made some lifestyle swings, however and I’m fairly amazed by the fact that changes in diet and exercise have spilled over to the rest of my life. The fact that we are warm, cozy and saving money on heating costs this winter time is a direct result of decreasing our lifestyle, since I wasn’t just sitting inside enjoying cable this fall, it seemed perfectly satisfactory to go to the cooling company website for winter time prep. The cooling professionals really made it easy with a checklist for sealing up the home nice and tight. All it took was a few minutes over a couple of weekends to complete the cooling checklist. And we are genuinely better off for it. Additionally, I’m going to keep this tight seal on our home to bring down the a/c costs this summer time as well. I’m already thinking ahead as I’ve called to schedule the a/c tune up for mid May. I know I’ll be home because it will be college basketball time. I’ve changed my habits but I’ll still be enjoying spring basketball while the cooling serviceman does their thing with the heat pump.
