There are really times where I tend to overthink a situation or a challenge.
And that’s because it’s sort of the default way my brain works.
While devising complicated solutions to concerns works fantastic inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office, I need to leave it there. That’s really the case as we approach springtime, and in most of the country, it’s way too early to be talking about springtime, however but around here, springtime is right around the corner. By Valentine’s Day, I’ll be seeing buds on the trees and then within weeks, or at most a month, there will be a/c demand, but right now, we are easing toward the end of December plus the heat pump is pretty much silent. If you have to deal with a brutally hot, humid summer, at least it’s fantastic to have such perfect weather during the winter. It’s so mild here that the heat pump barely runs at all as there is easily little demand for heating. In fact, there are times it’s just easier to crank the little space heating system for an hour in the morning on chilly nights. And I use the word chilly quite lightly. This year, when it comes to a/c, I’m not over thinking it when it comes to savings, but nope, we’re going to take a common sense approach to saving currency on all the cooling we need. This springtime, we’re going to leave the a/c off until it’s typically in the nineties. We’ll be able to adjust conditions to the heat which will then lower the demand for cooling once the extreme heat gets here in June.
