Nowadays it’s smart to find a job field with good job security.
Now that artificial intelligence has gotten so developed that it’s going to take the jobs of many, now more than ever you need to be really smart and cognizant about what types of careers you try to approach. There’s a chance that elementary, middle, and high school could eventually be taught by robots. Even copy editing for advertising sake is that threat from the looming specter of artificial intelligence. Honestly it worries me because one of my best friends is a copy editor. He tells me that there are really unscrupulous people in the industry that are happy to use artificial intelligence, but the issue is that all the output is mirror imitation. While human beings definitely learn by imitation, each person has their own unique quirks that causes them to produce creative works in different ways compared to their peers. A machine will type full sentences that are lifted from other sources, all a human being is probably going to think through the process a little bit more discreetly. However I don’t think we’re going to have robots fixing air conditioners for a long time. As much as software artificial intelligence is making leaps and bounds right now, I’m not so sure robotics has caught up. That’s one reason why I think HVAC is a great job field to go into if you want job security. Everybody is going to need the services of a heating and cooling technician at some point in time. That’s going to be true about HVAC needs even if you live in a different environment than a large portion of the population.
