I’m better now that it’s all over, then but the fact that the two of us are no longer in our family cabin is going to take more than weeks for me to get accustomed to, but i spent more than 25 years inside the central air conditioning of that house, and my partner & I raised more than three kids there as well… Once the last 1 was off to college, the house seemed so pressing & empty! The heating & cooling costs for my partner & I were ridiculous.
All of the upkeep & costs for a house that size made no sense for various people.
But it was hard for me to accept the fact that I would have to leave the cabin where I raised my children. I finally had to face facts when it became clear that our heating & cooling component was no longer producing high quality heating & air. The heat pump was falling far behind demand & seemed to have to run all the time in order to keep up at all, but fortunately, that doesn’t matter much while in the Winter time because the two of us don’t need much heating. But last summer, I knew the heat pump was done, my partner & I agreed that once the two of us had to do any kind of major update, the two of us were going all the way & listing the house. That’s pretty much what we’ve been doing for the last 6 weeks. Both of us installed current residential Heating & A/C with the latest in Heating & A/C technology. There were plenty of other projects my partner & I could do to improve the value of our home. It did not take however various weeks once it was on the market before the two of us got full asking price. At least the two of us got to like that appealing Heating & A/C component while the two of us were packing to move out.
