I had just gotten condo from toil and was getting ready to get into the shower, then it was nearly midnight, and I wanted nothing more than a boiling shower and a cool bed.
I turned on the water, but there was no boiling water.
I sat down and almost cried. I had put in a double shift, and I was tired. I had to go back to toil at 7 AM, and I could not go back to toil without a shower. I called our supervisor and told his I may be late because I had to wait for a plumber! She asked why I didn’t call an emergency plumber. I wanted to guess where I was supposed to find boiling water service at midnight. I told his there was no 1 to call, and even if there was, I still wouldn’t be back to toil before 7 AM. She told myself and others to just take the entire afternoon off, and he would toil our shift, however I owed her, and he would collect. I was sure he would, because he was that type of man. I would particularly toil double shifts for the rest of our life, if he had his way. I crawled into bed and figured I would call the plumber as soon as I got out of bed. I had the afternoon off, and I would not worry about the plumber until early in the afternoon. I already had the plumber’s number in our cellphone and all I had to do was press the number. I needed boiling water service, however I was going to wait a couple more hours and call when I was rested and not in a rush to get to work.
