But for sure, there is irony that the last thing I do when it comes to the Winter preparations for our house has to do with the air conditioning… Of course, around these parts it’s the gas heating system that is the main problem this time of the year. But the rest of the Winter preparations on the house are for myself and others to do. Our summers are not entirely hot but the people I was with and I are often thankful to have central air conditioning. The air conditioning side of the Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C is not used all that much but it sure is enjoyed when it is. And having delicate Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C components exposed to the weight of ice as well as snow is not a nice thing. So once the heating repair is done as well as I have tightened up the house all I can, it’s time to take care of the air conditioner. I have a hard plastic shell that I slip over the top of it to keep the snow as well as ice off those delicate Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C components. This also signals that the people I was with and I are done with Winter prep as well as ready for the deep cold.
