It’s so different how hastily I can get super defensive.
This is really not the way I’m built.
But there are particular attitudes and subjects that can really tick myself and others off. And I sure featured that side of myself when a realtor just completely dismissed my feelings about the Heating plus A/C unit the two of us had in our home. I really didn’t suppose appreciate she was being actually professional or even respectful the way that she was jest ripping our house. And it wasn’t exactly helpful that I got super defensive about it. And it’s sort of odd that it came to a head over the heating and cooling equipment. I believe a lot of that reaction from myself and others came from the fact that I was not all that gleeful about selling my home. And it was just strenuous to hear somebody completely dismiss an Heating plus A/C plan I had taken good care of for the last 15 years. It seemed to myself and others that the Heating plus A/C equipment would be able to go at least another decade given all the Heating plus A/C maintenance the two of us had gotten over the years. So to have it just completely dismissed by somebody I didn’t really even know was not an simple thing to swallow. But to her credit, the next time she came, she brought data showing why it was pressing to have new Heating plus A/C technology if the two of us were going to try to sell our home. She also appeared to be having a better day because she was a whole lot more respectful than she was the first time. My spouse and I were convinced that getting an Heating plus A/C unit update would be the best thing for us to do. And the price that the two of us got for the new home is a direct result of having that Heating plus A/C technology update.
