Have you ever desired to live in a beach house? Since Mark was a small kid, he typically had this desire to live anywhere warm.
See, growing up in the north is wonderful if you care about the chilly weather… Mark does have fond memories of Wintertide and going skiing with his family… But, there was also the issue of chilly rapidly decreasing temperatures and snow storms that plagued the area, and often, during such harsh times, Mark would swear he will end up living anywhere warmer, and his dream did come tploy in 2019; He had been living and toiling in a coastal city, and Mark had the opening to buy a beach condo fall on his lap; This was his dream coming true, but it’s not been all roses and butterflies.
One issue with living anywhere warm is you also have to deal with humidity. Mark never knew how high the humidity levels could get and also the impact this can have on a house. As a beach condo owner, he’s had to consult with a heating and cooling business on this matter. Humidity has led to mold and mildew in the condo which affects the indoor air pollen levels. Mark found out this after a heating and cooling expert checked out the cooling system and ductwork. There was so much mold and mildew that this had to be cleaned out instantaneously. Mark also got to learn about dehumidifiers that are a lifesaver in a beach house. He had a top-of-the-line dehumidifier set up in his beach condo to ensure he never has to deal with mold and mildew concerns for a long time. Mark is also quite vigilant about keeping heating and cooling repair appointments.
