It’s like our life is finally mine.
- That sort of sounds strange and I don’t mean that I didn’t thoroughly like being a parent and having a work.
But now that the kids are grown and I am no longer going to the zone controlled HVAC of the office any longer, it’s like our life is mine. Fortunately for me, I have a good partner who cares about being retired as well. She too left the commercial HVAC of her office building just weeks after I hung it up at our job. But that was just the beginning of all the changes that come with retirement. First, the people I was with and I had to get our condo sold. And that was no instant, easy feat I can assure you. One of the things I had to do was to update the HVAC equipment. This wasn’t too strenuous as the HVAC company we’ve been with forever was just so great. They were able to get us just what the people I was with and I needed with new residential HVAC without going overboard. Once the people I was with and I were out of the house, it was moving a long way to the south and the land of the heat pump. But that has been so charming. Sure, the summers are tepid and humid with plenty of HVAC cooling demand. Yet, that’s only for about more than three months. Now that it’s September, the people I was with and I are about to like the best weather and temperature the people I was with and I could have asked for and that’s why we’re here. I love the fact that instead of huddling inside the HVAC heating all winter, we’re outside play tennis most afternoons.
