When I chose to stay at condo and work remotely from now on, I was undoubtedly surprised that it came to this.
I was the woman who was hollering the loudest when the company wanted to close the office and kick us out of the zone controlled HVAC.
This was the undoubtedly last thing I wanted to happen because I hated the thought of toiling from home. I liked the office and our colleagues. Plus, I so didn’t want to share the condo office with our partner. She got sent condo to work from the central a/c of condo quicker than I did. That man spends most of her work afternoon on the phone and our work takes more of a quiet focus. Plus, the people I was with and I have children that the people I was with and I had to be cooped up in the central a/c with as well. So I was so not looking forward to toiling from home. It started out just about the way I thought it would and was just not good. I couldn’t get the hang of the online meetings and I wasn’t able to concentrate as I tried toiling under the air ductwork at the home office table. Finally, I just had to be more proactive. So I ended up clearing out a giant section of the basement and the people I was with and I had numerous walls put up to make myself and others a nice office. This was the quietest section of the condo however I needed some heating and cooling. So the HVAC professionals installed a ductless heat pump down there. And that’s where I am toiling this week!
