I’m so ecstatic that I had the opportunity to buy our little lake house.
For sure, the property is worth so much more given how popular that once hidden gem of a lake has become.
But it’s undoubtedly not about the money or making a pile of money off selling it. No, it’s about being able to get out of the zone controlled HVAC of the office and get some perspective. I tend to get awfully focused on our work. That sort of goes with the territory when it’s your own business. I grew that dealer from inside the central a/c of our condo to operating out of a big, downtown office building with good commercial HVAC. But all that progress has to come with some balance and that’s where the lake condo comes in. It’s simple, awesome and right smack in the middle of some gorgeous nature. And up until recently, I was not too wild about the plan of adding much to it. But our fiance was right, there were a number of things that undoubtedly did need to be updated in that site. Since the people I was with and I were doing stuff like flooring, decorating and furnishing, I thought why not go with some residential HVAC. The HVAC company was able to come out and install a ductless multi chop system in the lake house. I have to say that having a giant of a/c this Summer sure made for some good afternoons coming inside from the sun. While I sort of miss how completely simple the venue was prior to stuff like quality heating and air, I suppose the updates are for sure a positive.
