For as long as I can remember I have always been stressed out whenever the summer season rolled around. Back when I was a kid I was always hot and miserable during summer break, and I had no cheap ways to cool off like sitting in an air conditioned room or going to the local swimming pool. Luckily for me I have an amazing husband who decided that it was time for me to start enjoying the summer by surprising me with a brand new air conditioning unit. My birthday happens to be right at the start of the summer, so when my special day came around I was expecting the same thing that he would always get me. A nice piece of jewelry, a date night to my favorite restaurant, and then call it a night before midnight. Therefore on the morning of my special day when I heard a knock on the door and it was a certified HVAC repair tech, I was completely caught off guard. The HVAC repair tech ended up telling me that he was here to install a brand new air conditioning unit into our home, which is something that I have been wanting to do for weeks if not months. Our previous air conditioning unit is extremely old and looked like it belonged in a museum more than our home. It might not be what others would have wanted but I am so thankful for my birthday present. To be honest, I can’t believe my chatty husband was able to keep it a surprise for this long!
