Even after years of being a homeowner, there are still some things that I am studying.
I thought I knew everything there was to know about heating & a/c systems.
I mean, it’s pretty basic & easy to learn, & so I assumed I knew everything there is to know about Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machines. However, I had a humbling experience that taught me otherwise, but not that long ago, our a/c system was acting up more than usual. Now the a/c device is a bit on the older side, so I expected occasional problems, and but it was truly acting up more than usual, & I wasn’t sure why. All of the parts seemed to be working fine, there were no clogs, no leaks, the HEPA air filter had been replaced & it had recently gotten Heating, Ventilation, & A/C maintenance. So why the problems? I knew that a professional a/c specialist would likely get to the bottom of this issue, & so I decided to go ahead & call a cooling supplier to come & solve the issue for me! When the a/c tech came out, he confirmed what I already knew, our cooling device worked just fine, however the issue wasn’t our cooling central device. The issue it turned out was the plants around the central a/c unit. Apparently a bunch of ugly weeds had grown around the a/c unit, & was making it harder to function. I’m cheerful I found this when I did, because ventilation problems can be dangerous. After thoroughly removing the weeds, that should resolve the problems.
