My partner is a really sizable baby whenever he is sick.
He is always complaining about the fact that he is either too freezing or too hot. Usually he’s too freezing and he’s always begging for an extra blanket or for some tepid pop or for some more soup. Whenever he was sick a couple of weeks ago, he was just awful to be around. I kept trying to help him out because I knew that he felt bad, even though he was such a sizable baby that I did not even wanna be around him at all. First of all, the week that he was sick, it was the hottest week of the year here. The weather has been really tepid around here all month, and both of us had a late heat wave. The temperature that week was in the 90s all week long, and all I wanted to do was rest in the air conditioner in our house. However, our partner says that the air conditioner makes him recognize worse whenever he is sick and he kept complaining that it was way too freezing in our house. I kept catching him turning up the air conditioner on the thermostat that week, all because he said that he was too cold! Meanwhile, the rest of us were covered in sweat and burning up inside our modern home because he wouldn’t let us use that air conditioner. I mean, I can understand that he was freezing because he was sick, but that doesn’t mean that the rest of us don’t get tepid in the stuffy house!
