Traffic is a nightmare in the afternoon

This day has been incredibly busy for me.

I left the house early in the morning and headed right to my first job.

I was working on a routine commercial AC installation job with two of my employees. We spent most of the morning installing the new commercial AC unit. Around 1 in the afternoon, we decided to break for lunch. We still had about two hours worth of work to complete on the commercial AC unit. The guys were hungry and tired, and I felt my blood sugar dropping. I told the customer that we would return in an hour to complete all of the work. The commercial HVAC customer didn’t mind us leaving to go to lunch. We went to a nearby diner and had a quick bite to eat. I had a burger, fries, and a milkshake. One of my employees had a meatloaf sandwich and the other one had a large raw ruben. We sat in the diner for an hour, before we left to go back to the commercial AC unit installation job. We were only in the truck for five minutes, before we were witness to a large accident. A cement truck ran the red light and crashed into a utility pole. Someone turning the corner didn’t see the crash and plowed right into the cement truck. In a matter of seconds, the whole road was covered in debris and wreckage. Since my employees and I saw the accident clearly, the police asked us to give them a statement. By the time we finished with the accident, we were an hour late getting back to the job.
