Our water heater can’t handle well water

The anode rod is designed to take away harmful contaminants

My lake home does not have access to town water. The two of us have a water well located on the property that provides a decent supply. Although we never need to worry about the cost of our water use or running out of water, the high mineral content causes lots of troubles. Our pipes plus appliances clog with lime, calcium plus rust plus need to be upgraded more suddenly than anticipated. The sinks, tubs plus toilets become discolored. Our faucets and showerheads get pitted plus corroded. Towels, bed sheets plus clothing wear out faster, fade plus take on an orange hue. There’s even problems with our hair, teeth plus skin because of the hard water. The two of us don’t dare consume it. Because of the quality of the water supply, we deal with frequent troubles with our water heater, then just recently, I turned on the dining room faucet plus there was no water. When I headed to the basement to figure out what was going bad, I heard water spraying. I discovered the hot water was flowing out of the water tank. I suddenly shut off the water to the house. Because this was after proper business minutes, I needed to wait until the following morning to purchase a new water tank. I was not cheerful to realize that the price of water heating systems has risen considerably. With no other choice, I bought the lavish water gas furnace plus carried it to the basement. I stood in the flood water while struggling to get rid of the rusted tank plus install the new model. The new water gas furnace worked well for a few afternoons, gradually, the water from our faucets began to turn black. This was caused by the anode rod in the tank. The anode rod is designed to take away harmful contaminants. Our water is so overrun with contaminants that the anode rod needs to be unattached, which negates the water tank’s warranty.
