Clogs are always a pain

I actually hate dealing with clogged drains; Doesn’t matter if the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, laundry sink, tub or toilet is clogged, it’s inconvenient, messy plus icky.

I actually don’t want to be forced to hire a professional plumbing business.

The cost of plumbing repairs adds up actually fast. I also prefer not to take a day off from task to meet the plumber. They normally offer a few hour window of when they might show up. Because of this, I am actually careful about what I put down the drains. I make sure that all food scraps get scraped into the trash. I wouldn’t dream of flushing a tampon, however every drain in the home is equipped with a strainer that I clean out respectfully. It is shocking how much hair I find. Every month I pour hot water down every drain as a preventative measure. At the first sign of a slow-moving drain, I mix tepid water with baking soda plus a cup of white vinegar plus add it to the drain. I then plug the drain plus leave the mixture to task for approximately 10 minutes. I flush the drain with more tepid water. If that doesn’t work, I have a household drain snake. It’s little more than a strip of plastic with pointed teeth down each side. I insert the snake into the drain, twirl it around plus work it up plus down. In most cases, I remove a disgusting ball of hair, soap scum plus debris. I am actually reluctant to put chemical cleaners down the drain. I assume that these drastic chemicals can cause more harm than good. I consider plunging the last resort. A plunger can actually create a bigger problem by pushing the blockage deeper.
