I have always hated the saying you get what you spend money for; Unfortunately it is a easily accurate phrase that I got to understand first hand.
I needed a heat pump system for our lake house however did not want to spend the cash, then any Heating and A/C supplier I called wanted to charge me thoUnited Statesnds from the heat pump and then a separate cost for the Heating and A/C replacement.
I did not want to spend that much. I did some hunting around online and found a heat pump that was half the cost. I then called up 1 of the Heating and A/C providers and swung a deal. I buy our own heat pump and he installs the equipment for half the cost if I spend money in cash. I haggled and weaseled our way into this deal, but once the Heating and A/C dealer arrived at our lake house and saw the system, he was less game for the deal. The guy told me that I obtained a total crap heat pump that would not last a week. I figured he was trying to upsell me and made him install the heat pump. Well the Heating and A/C professional was right. I paid for a cheap heat pump and it acts prefer 1. I barely assume the difference from heating to cooling. The heat pump also makes a horribly loud sound when it is running. The temperature control setting in our lake house is more of a suggestion from our system. I don’t really get to be the right temperature. So I spent cash on a system that does nothing. I might need to just rip it out and start over.
