I work for a major construction company in town, and we just landed a multi-million dollar subcontract from one of our customers! The job will be starting in about 6 months and it will last for approximately 2 years.
Due to the size of the job, we must have enough people to run the project efficiently.
Therefore, the assigned Project Manager decided to put an entire team together, and I was chosen to be part of that team! My main focus was document control, compliance, permits, payroll and timekeeping, and I was also responsible for getting the office trailer setup on the jobsite, and so, once we had our team together, I was able to determine the size of the trailer that we needed, then I contacted a local trailer rental company to see the possibilities they had, one of my problems was typical heating and cooling inside the trailer. I live in a state where the Summers can be brutal, and having an air conditioner is a necessity. I was ecstatic to learn that most of their trailers were equipped with heating and cooling. In fact, the trailer that I selected has 3 ductless mini-split air conditioners installed. Due to the size of the trailer and the several rooms, 3 units are needed to cool and heat all the spaces, but the representative from the trailer supplier assured myself and others that the ductless systems will perform well during the middle of the Summer. I am ecstatic that I was able to secure this trailer, and in a few short weeks, I will be working inside of it.
